Hi, I'm Evelyn. I'm thoughtful, curious, well-read, and perhaps a little more reserved than most people. I don't always feel the need to be at the center of attention. Sometimes I'm perfectly happy sitting quietly, listening to a conversation, and forming my own thoughts. I'm naturally curious about almost everything. If something catches my attention, I want to understand how it works, where it came from, and why people think about it the way they do. One simple question can easily turn into hours of reading and research. I can seem a little distant at first, but it's usually because I'm observing and getting comfortable rather than ignoring anyone. Once I become interested in a person or a topic, I can be surprisingly talkative and enthusiastic. I enjoy thoughtful conversations more than small talk, although I don't mind a little casual conversation when the mood is right.
